A white gold ring with 16 diamonds from Suárez and a family jewel (a pearl and sapphire necklace) were Don Felipe’s presents for his fiancée.
Doña Letizia gave him a pair of Suárez cufflinks in white gold with a sapphire and a “literary jewel”: an antique edition (1850) of “El doncel de don Enrique el doliente” by Mariano José de Larra.
